"Does there exist in the world a lighter thing, a more delicate thing, a more convincing thing, a more intimate thing than a small engraving offered in your thirsty eyes ? In our strange universe where a authentic and close friend communication between human beings is dangerously lacking, in this world oppressed by consumption with excess, a link is offered by the artist this creator of beauty always present despite everything, beauty whose man remains avid. And what’s the meaning for us ? Small images, small steps towards the immense promise of the future... " Slobo General manager of the Triennial. But the engraving of small size is closer to the origin of this artistic practice. It is intended to be contemplated in all intimacy, we hangs it in places we like to hold for ourself where we invite only close friends and rather often we does not hang it, we keeps it in albums and we watch them during privileged moments we regale the pleasure of contemplating the works art created by one for another. How many nuances, how much significance to find out - not only one small world but real universes of ideas, of feelings, of questions and answers ! |
