The finest action remains the World Print and Original Engraving Triennial that Slobo created with the support of the municipality and professionals of the graphic art. This became an important event and have acquired an international fame very quickly.
 | The idea of creating Prints Triennials was suggested to him by the history of the city. Indeed, at the 18th century Chamalières had water mills for making paper on the Tiretaine river and the first charter of the Humans Rights was printed on this paper in 1793.
Slobo wished to perpetuate this tradition of the impression and engraving through the Triennial. For each one of them an important catalogue considered by the professionals of engraving as the "Larousse of the graphic art" was published. More than one hundred countries, approximately 5 000 artists and some 25 000 works on paper are indexed this way.
The Association Mouvement Art Contemporain collaborated during these last years with many countries and takes part effectively of the influence of Chamalières and Auvergne in the world.
The original idea coming from Chamalières had received an echo and a favorable adhesion in the surrounding cities very quickly.

These 6 Triennial is the expression of a cultural dynamism for Chamalières, for Auvergne and for France.
